I'm posting a link to an article I just wrote titled, "Why Lordship
Salvation is not Biblical".  It addresses some of the common errors that
are taught in the "Lordship Salvation" doctrine.  In a nutshell, the
doctrine teaches that in addition to faith in Christ, one must make upfront
commitments or promises to God, in order to received His free gift of eternal
life.  It also takes what should be the results of salvation and makes them
a prerequisite for salvation.  If you'd like to read the article, you can
do so at my blog.
